Built to outlast the factory unit, this Demon Powersports heavy-duty rear CV axle is a direct-fit replacement for the Yamaha YXZ1000R. The shaft and CV joints are forged from 4340 chromoly steel and run through a dual heat-treatment process, so the assembly shrugs off the shock loads that snap stock axles on hard hits and hole shots.
The double-plunge inner joint provides about 1.5 inches of plunge and as much as 40 degrees of articulation, keeping power smooth through the entire suspension range. Puncture- and heat-resistant TPEE boots hold in the molybdenum grease and keep grit out, so the assembly bolts in and keeps you riding.
