This is the complete Stowe Cargo 2-in-1 combo kit for the 2014-2018 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 on the 5'8"-5'9" short bed, including the 2019 Silverado 1500 LD and 2019 Sierra 1500 Limited that carried the old body forward - the lockable crossover cargo box and the hard tilt-up tonneau cover ship together as one integrated unit, so you are not buying a toolbox and a cover separately and hoping the two line up. The box sits over the rails at the front of the bed at roughly 17 inches tall; the one-piece hard cover takes the rest of the bed.

Both halves are composite sandwich panels set in an extruded and cast aluminum frame, polyurea-coated in matte black. The bed stays genuinely usable: the cover tilts up on heavy steel hinges for access from three sides and lifts off completely when you are hauling something tall, and the stepped toolbox leaves room for sheet goods and lumber to slide underneath into the nose of the bed.

Fitment is specific to the 2014-2018 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 on the 5'8"-5'9" short bed, including the 2019 Silverado 1500 LD and 2019 Sierra 1500 Limited that carried the old body forward. It ships LTL freight rather than ground parcel: the crate moves on a pallet to a curbside liftgate delivery, and the freight carrier calls ahead to book a residential delivery appointment, so plan on being there and having a second set of hands to get it off the truck. It does not fit the GM CarbonPro composite bed.
