This adapter keeps a 5x114.3 mm (5x4.5 in) bolt circle on the hub side and the wheel side, which makes it a straight spacer for anyone already running that pattern.

Moving the wheel outboard gains clearance for a wider tire or an aftermarket suspension arm, and it widens the track a little for a more planted stance. The silver finish disappears behind most wheels.
