This one changes the pattern: it bolts to a 5x114.3 mm (5x4.5 in) hub and presents a 5x127 mm (5x5 in) face for the wheel. That opens up a whole set of wheels your hubs would otherwise rule out.

It also adds track width in the process, which helps with tire clearance after a lift or when you step up a tire size.
